My name is Jay and I'm hoping for help with assisting me through my battle with cancer. I am a single father of a 7 year old son, Julian. In April 2026, I was diagnosed with nasopharynx cancer and squamous cell carcinoma. At that time, I was in the transition of switching careers and my previous medical insurance had lapsed right before my cancer diagnosis, which left me in a vulnerable financial crisis.
I am currently undergoing radiation treatments and chemotherapy at Mercy hospital in Creve Couer MO. After the diagnosis, I had no choice but to accept a lower-paying job. I am still employed in this position as I am undergoing treatment. However, here shortly, the side effects of treatments will hinder my ability to work and provide for my son. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward dental extractions, radiation, chemotherapy, rent, and all the essentials that allow me to focus on healing and caring for Julian.
