Our dear friend Jay is one of those rare people who lights up every room he walks into. He’s a chiropractor who has touched countless lives with his care, kindness, and gentle strength. Jay is the epitome of a family man — a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man of strong faith. He has an incredible sense of humor, a servant’s heart, and a deep love for the Lord, his family, and his patients.

After weeks of battling what seemed like a stubborn upper respiratory infection, and after multiple urgent care visits, Jay was finally admitted to the ER. There, doctors discovered something far more serious: a streptococcal bacterial infection had entered his bloodstream. It was determined that his heart was infected and he has bacterial endocarditis, and the infection attacked his aortic valve, creating a large growth that damaged it beyond repair. Several pieces of the infection broke off and caused multiple strokes in his brain.

Jay is now facing the fight of his life. On Friday, he will undergo open heart surgery to replace his entire aortic valve and artery. His family, friends, and patients are all rallying around him, but most of all, Jay needs prayer for healing, strength, and peace.

In addition to the enormous emotional toll, the financial burden is overwhelming. Jay runs his own chiropractic clinic, which comes with high monthly expenses. With a recovery time that could stretch to three months or more, along with mounting hospital bills, the need for support is urgent.

Jay has given so much of himself to others — now it’s our turn to show up for him. Any amount you’re able to give will go directly toward keeping his clinic afloat, covering medical costs, and helping his family through this difficult season.
