Support Jay's Battle Against ALS
Donation protected
Dear family, friends and supporters,
Recently, our beloved Jay was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). ALS is a devastating neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to a loss of muscle control. Unfortunately, there is no real treatment, no cure and an unpredictable shortened life lies ahead.
Jay is a God fearing, loving husband, father, brother, son and friend. Jay, Britt and their 4 boys live a quiet life in Mansfield, MO. As you can imagine, this is a bit of a shock and the heavy realization that life is changing before their eyes is very real.
The average cost of health care expenses for someone living with ALS is over $200K a year. As the disease progresses, this can rise higher.
As family and close friends discussed this, we are wanting to help Jay and Britt by raising funds to assist with these rising costs and help them make memories with their boys. We do not expect everyone to be able to give, but if you are led to give to these efforts, then know your gift will be accepted with grateful tears.
Most of all, please pray. Pray for the good days to be plentiful and the memories cherished. Pray for the hearts of the boys to be drawn closer to the Lord as they see HIs grace. Pray for the stressful life situations to be lessened and hearts to remain soft.
