JAYNE NEEDS OUR HELP!
In June of 2025 our dear friend, Jayne Mederios, had been experiencing fatigue, shortness of breath, and not feeling herself. After many weeks of testing, she was told her kidneys and liver were compromised, but it was her heart they were mostly concerned about and she was admitted to the hospital where she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, very likely due to breast cancer treatment in 2014.
Jayne has been working with a cardiologist on medications, EKG’s, and further testing for CHF issues. Jayne was referred to Oregon Health Sciences electro-cardiologist where more tests were performed and additional EKG’s and PET scans were scheduled. The electro-cardiologist also mentioned a probable surgical procedure after all the results were in, the soonest this would be done would be spring of 2026.
She can no longer work at this time and is struggling to make ends meet. We, her friends, are trying to help her get past this latest health hurdle and we need your help too.
Please donate whatever you can. She wants to continue her many year’s work as a companion caregiver and Special Olympics volunteer as soon as she is able and cleared by her physicians. She has helped so many others; it’s time for us to help her. It’s a long medical journey.
Jayne is ever so grateful and appreciative.
