Support Jaynell's Knee Surgery and Recovery

Hello everyone, it’s Jaynell! As much as I hate for it to have to come to this, I am making this GoFundMe to help raise funds for my urgent reconstructive surgery of my left ACL, my Lateral and Medial Meniscus.

I recently injured my other knee due to playing softball (I should just give it up, I know). Unfortunately, after the injury, my MRI and Xray results revealed that I have a full tear of my anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), a horizontal tear of my medial Meniscus and a tear of my lateral meniscus, along with a fractured tibia of my left knee. These injuries require me to have this surgery if I want to be able to use my legs effectively again. This is definitely not something I am taking lightly mentally, emotionally or physically but it has to be done and i'm trying to stay in good spirits!

Not so Fun Fact: I tore my right ACL in college 4 years ago and ended up having reconstructive surgery on my right knee as well. However, in college, it was a little easier to manage this injury due to still being in school, not working, and not having other major bills to pay, as I do now.

The medically associated costs for this surgery are significant and as a full-time registered behavioral technician who's constantly on her feet, I will need to be out of work indefinitely until I am recovered enough to return back to my work duties. My doctors say i’ll be on crutches for at least a Month.

I am not a big fan of asking for help or favors and it’s taking me a lot to create this so I’m only sharing this with my family and close friends.
