Our mother, Jayne, and her long-time partner, Jim, suffered a devastating house fire late Tuesday night January 21st. The fire started in the attic over their bedroom. Acting quickly, they got our teenage sister out and told her to call 911. Then they rounded up their 3 dogs, and 2 cats and got them out of the house. The Oxford Fire Department, as well as Dudley, Webster, Auburn, and Leicester Fire Departments, responded to the call. While they did a wonderful job putting the fire out, our family is left homeless and has lost of their belongings. They will also have to miss work for fire recovery efforts and pet care.
So many people have already reached out to offer to help out. Your support is greatly appreciated. If you're able, please consider helping a family during one their toughest times. Thank you.
