On December 23rd, just one day before Christmas Eve, Jaylin Pizarro suffered a sudden and devastating stroke at only 27 years old. He experienced multiple stroke episodes while alone, and after arriving home from work, he suffered a serious falls on top of the strokes that led to immediate and emergent hospitalization after being left unresponsive.

Following extensive medical testing, including multiple CT scans and MRIs, doctors confirmed 3strokes,brain swelling, and brain hemorrhaging of the frontal lobe. Jaylin spent nearly two weeks in the hospital, fighting to stabilize and begin recovery.

In the early days after the stroke, Jaylin lost mobility on the right side of his body and much of his ability to speak. While he has made meaningful progress, he was discharged home before receiving the rehabilitation care he urgently needs due to delays and limited insurance coverage.

Rehabilitation is critical for Jaylin’s recovery. He now requires speech therapy to regain communication skills and occupational therapy to restore hand strength and motor function on his right side. Without insurance approval in place, the cost of this care combined with hospital and medical bills has become overwhelming.

At this time, Jaylin is unable to return to work, leaving him without regular income during one of the most important periods of his life. The financial strain has added significant stress to an already difficult healing journey.
