Support Jaylen's Healing After Shooting

Help With Jaylen's Recovery.

This past Saturday (8/23/25), my sister Jaylen was shot several times while attending a back-to-school basketball tournament game.

Bullets went through her arm, and one is still lodged in the bottom of her lung. Jaylen's ribs are fractured!

On Sunday, she had emergency surgery after her lung filled with blood. The doctors have told us to take it day by day, and there is a chance she may need more surgery to remove the bullet from her lung, which can lead to having to live without her bottom lung.

We lost our mom in 2017 due to cancer, and since then, Jaylen has stepped up to care for her 3 siblings. She is a hardworking young woman who just graduated with her Master’s degree and is now a teacher. She has always given her all to others, and now she needs our support.
