Support Jayleen's Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rocio, and I am Jayleen’s aunt. I created this GoFundMe to support my brother Jose and Jayleen’s mom Isabel as they navigate this difficult time.
Jayleen Miranda is a sweet and loving 19-month-old who was recently diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)—a type of blood cancer. Her battle has been tough from the start, as she has faced serious complications, including tumor lysis syndrome (a condition caused by cancer treatment that can damage the kidneys), acute kidney injury (AKI), and a severe lung infection (multifocal pneumonia).
She was admitted to the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and placed on a ventilator due to severe breathing difficulties. Thankfully, she has made progress and is now off oxygen, but her fight is far from over. Jayleen is facing an intense three-year treatment journey to overcome this cancer.
Her parents, who live in Sebastopol, CA, are doing everything they can to support her, but this diagnosis has completely changed their lives. Between hospital stays, rehoming efforts, and missed workdays to be by Jayleen’s side, they need help to stay financially afloat. As Jayleen continues chemotherapy treatments at Stanford, her parents will also face ongoing travel expenses and hotel stays, as she requires multiple treatments per week along with follow-up care.
Any donation—big or small—will help Jayleen’s family focus on what matters most: her recovery. If you’re unable to donate, please share her story to help spread the word.
Thank you for your support, prayers, and love! ❤️
