Hi. My name is Lyssa and the pic is my 9-year-old granddaughter, Jayleana. She was attacked by a dog while defending and protecting her 5-year-old sister. Her little sister escaped with severe scratches, but Jay sustained massive damage to her arm and leg, requiring emergency surgery.

She needed almost 300 stitches and over 200 staples to put her little arm and leg back together. She will need months of physical and occupational therapy, as well as more surgery for her injuries.

They have a single mom who is trying to keep her job while caring for these two beautiful girls during their recovery from this horrific incident. Anything you can spare to assist this family during this difficult time would be so greatly appreciated.
