Support Jayden Medina's Santa Clara Vanguard Dream
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jayden Medina, and I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve been offered the opportunity to march with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps this season!
Vanguard’s 2018 show Babylon was the very first drum corps performance I ever saw—and it completely changed my life. That show opened my eyes to the power of performance, discipline, and storytelling through music. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be a part of this world. Now, that dream is becoming a reality—but I need your help to take the field.
Marching with SCV comes with a significant financial cost. Tuition, travel, housing, meals, and equipment add up to around $5,450, and while I’m doing everything I can to contribute, I can’t reach this goal on my own.
This opportunity means even more to me because I’m also pursuing a future as a music educator. Being part of SCV will not only push me as a performer—it will also help me grow into the kind of teacher who can inspire the next generation, just like SCV inspired me. I want to take everything I learn on this journey and give it back to my future students.
Your donation will help cover:
• Partial tuition and equipment fees
• Summer tour travel and housing
• An experience that will shape my life as both a performer and future educator
Every bit of support, no matter how big or small, brings me closer to making this dream a reality. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign is just as meaningful.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
With gratitude,
