Support Jayden & His Fight Against Medulloblastoma

I'm reaching out and hoping to gather support for my 16-year-old cousin, Jayden, who is bravely fighting a battle that no child should ever have to face.

In June 2024, he showed symptoms of what we believed to be a simple stomach bug but turned out to be something far more serious. A last minute decision to do a CT scan revealed a large tumor on Jayden’s brain. Within just two days, he underwent emergency brain surgery to remove the tumor. It was then confirmed that Jayden was diagnosed with “Medulloblastoma” a common type of primary brain cancer in children. Our world was turned upside down in an instant.

Jayden spent 3 weeks in the QLD Children’s Hospital, enduring the unimaginable. He is now in the midst of radiation therapy, with chemotherapy soon to follow. Each day presents new challenges, and while Jayden’s spirit remains strong, the road ahead is long and filled with uncertainty.

To make matters even more difficult, his devoted mother, Lisa, has had to make the heart-wrenching decision to leave her job in order to care for him full-time. The demands of his care are overwhelming, and the financial strain on their family has become immense. They are faced not only with the emotional and physical toll of this battle but also with the growing burden of medical bills, daily expenses and the costs associated with Jayden’s treatment.

I am determined to do everything I can to support them during this incredibly challenging time, which is why I am fundraising to help alleviate some of the financial pressures they are facing, whether it be covering the costs of groceries, fuel for countless trips to the hospital, medications, or any other expenses that come their way.

Jayden is a fighter, and so is his family, but they cannot do this alone. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a world of difference in helping them navigate this slow and challenging battle that has overtaken their lives. Your support will provide them with some much-needed relief, allowing them to focus on what truly matters—being there for Jayden every step of the way.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering helping my cousin and his family during this incredibly challenging time. Your generosity and kindness mean more than words can express.
