A message from Jayda:
"For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a marine biologist. I have a passion for animals, specifically marine life and I see how much of an impact it has on our world through climate change. As I prepare for my senior year of high school, I have been actively researching colleges centered around marine biology. Most of these colleges require participation in passion projects surrounding my intended major. BroadReach will give me firsthand experience as a "marine science researcher" while working to restore and protect coral reefs and examining the marine ecosystem. On this trip, I will gain 3 diving certifications, 2 college credits, 6 community service hours, and the experience of a lifetime. This would be a huge blessing for my future marine biologist career."
A message from Jayda's family:
If you know Jayda, you know she is one of the most brilliant, mature, genuine, loving young ladies you will ever meet. She is driven in academics as shown through her numerous AP & Honors courses. Because of her stellar grades & academic success, she had the opportunity to graduate early. She is a natural-born leader who is active in Associated Student Body (ASB) and serves as the Special Events Coordinator at her high school. She is constantly planning for college & her future career. We are so proud of how ambitious and focused she is at this age. We have no doubt that she will reach every goal she sets for herself!
As part of our village, you can trust that the seed you water in her will bloom to it's fullest potential.
