Hello world! My name is Jayda Bermudo, and together with my director Piper Martin, we are working on a short film called “THE COMMUTE: There’s No Drifting Without I”! We are both film students from different colleges in California and long time friends! Our goal is to enter this film into the San Joaquin Delta College Film Festival, and we’d really appreciate your help!

To keep it brief, this film is about 4 college friends on a race against the clock to make it to campus on time before their evil professors drop them, risking their senior year of graduation. The stakes are high for our main character Julie, the driver, who’s terrified of upsetting one of the most prestigious computer science professors of her generation. Joined by three other hooligans Bing, Leonard, and Naomi, the road to success will be jam packed with road ragers and tailgaters.

The money we will raise will be used to support our amazing crew that we’ve gathered together. From gas to snacks, and a big celebratory dinner we aim to have post production, your generous dollar will help fund these incredible people - not just for their talents - but for their efforts toward their academic journey.
