To My Village,
My name is Jayce Rodgers, and I am 8 years old and currently a third-grade student at Roswell Elementary School. I am a very outgoing, hardworking, and self-driven young man who loves football, being outdoors, exploring nature, and learning new things. I have big dreams, and one of those dreams is to one day play in the NFL while also pursuing a career as an architect. What makes this fundraiser special is that it was completely my idea. I wanted to find a way to invest in myself and take the next steps toward becoming the best athlete and student I can be. My parents support me 100% and have always encouraged me to work hard, set goals, and chase my dreams. They have taught me that success comes from dedication, discipline, and believing in yourself.
I am proud to say that I am not only passionate about sports, but I am also committed to academics. I currently maintain all A’s in school and rank in the top 10% of students in Fulton County. Throughout my academic journey, I have received several awards and recognitions, including the Presidential Award, Super Bear Award, and many others that recognize both my character and academic achievements. I am also a participant in TAG (Talented and Gifted), an advanced academic program designed for students who demonstrate exceptional abilities and academic potential. TAG provides challenging learning opportunities that encourage critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and advanced problem-solving skills. Being selected for this program is an honor, and I am proud to continue growing both inside and outside the classroom.
Donations will help cover football camp registration fees, travel expenses, lodging accommodations, safety equipment and football gear, training and conditioning opportunities, and other football-related expenses that help me develop my skills. Football has taught me teamwork, leadership, accountability, and perseverance. Every camp and training opportunity helps me improve not only as an athlete but also as a young man.
