Please consider helping and praying for my sister Jessica, Pedro, and their son Jayce as they navigate treatment for their son.

On Thursday, an annual check-up for Jayce turned into a trip to the ER for bloodwork and from there, an ambulance ride to Saint Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. By Saturday, January 31st, Jayce was diagnosed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and a mass near his heart. On Sunday, he was moved to ICU for fluid around the heart caused by the mass.

The doctors have laid out a treatment plan for chemo but are trying to get his platelets up in order to do a port for the chemo. He will stay a minimum of 10 days in the hospital to start out. Jayce will have to be out of school for 6-9 months, the chemo plan is a 2-year treatment plan he will have to endure.

Please pray for the medical team helping Jayce, for Jayce because this is a lot for a 15-year-old to endure, and his parents whose entire world changed in a few short days. They appreciate all the love and support and know God is in control and has His hands on Jayce.
