Help Me Chase My Dream of Becoming a Sports Medicine Doctor!
Hey everyone, my name is Jayce Hopkins, and I’m a 9th grader at Paloma Valley High School in the Biomedical Science pathway. I’ve recently been nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Medicine & Health Care in Houston, TX, starting June 25, 2026—and I’d love your support in helping me get there!
This opportunity means a lot to me because I’ve always been interested in how the human body works—especially when it comes to injuries and recovery in sports. I play football and run track, so I’ve seen firsthand how important sports medicine is. That’s why I want to become a Sports Medicine Physician and one day help athletes stay healthy, strong, and performing at their best.
Through NYLF, I’ll get the chance to:
Participate in hands-on clinical simulations
Learn from real doctors and medical students
Explore the medical field in a deeper, more interactive way
Meet students from across the country who are also passionate about health care
Build leadership skills that will help me in college and beyond
This program will give me a major head start on my career goals and help me decide which path in medicine is right for me.
Why I’m Raising Money
The total cost of the program is $4,500, which covers tuition, housing, meals, travel, and materials. I’ve already raised $500 by saving and picking up small jobs, but I still need to raise $4,000 by April 25, 2026.
I’m doing everything I can to make this happen, but I’m reaching out to ask for support. Whether you can give $5 or $50, every bit helps me get closer to this amazing opportunity. If you can’t donate, sharing my page would mean a lot too.
A Little About Me:

Taking AP courses while staying active in sports
Focused on becoming a Sports Medicine Physician
Passionate about helping others and learning more about the human body
Thank you so much for supporting me. I’m really excited to take this next step, and with your help, I know I can make it.
