I write this with a heavy heart and a desperate hope.

On July 27th, 2025, my mother, Jayalakshmi Sakuru (74), suffered a massive brain hemorrhage caused by high blood pressure. She was rushed to Apollo Hospitals, Health City, Arilova, Visakhapatnam, where she underwent emergency life-saving procedures, including External Ventricular Drainage (EVD) to remove two dangerous blood clots from her brain.

Since that day, she has been fighting for her life. She remains in an M6 coma, fully dependent on ventilator support, under round-the-clock ICU care.

On August 8th, 2025, doctors have recommended urgent flow diverter surgeries for two large brain aneurysms to prevent another catastrophic rupture at MGM Hospitals , Visakhapatnam. Without these procedures, her chances of survival are extremely low.

Medical Journey & Costs So Far

• Aug 2–8, 2025: Emergency procedures, ICU stay, ventilation — ₹14,00,000 spent in just 6 days.

• Upcoming urgent surgery & continued ICU care: Estimated at ₹35,00,000+.

• Projected ICU stay: 21–28 more days, possibly longer depending on her recovery.

We are an ordinary middle-class family, and this financial strain is devastating. We have exhausted our savings and have been paying through emergency cash arrangements, but the mounting costs are far beyond what we can manage alone.
