Former U.S. Presidential Candidate and U. S. Army Veteran Jay Torres is seeking support towards the creation of a new political party dubbed The New Government Of The People (The New GOP). Jay Torres believes that neither current parties are seriously interested in resolving long-standing social-economic issues that have plagued Americans for over 50 years. The United States must not continue to depend on either a Democrat OR Republican to listen and take action on the needs of the people. "The future of our country does not rest with current or past leadership, but in New leaders that hear the plight of 350 million Americans." Funding towards this independent party will go towards the creation of the new party that represents the common man, not the elite.
