Help Jay Goree in His Time of Need
Jay Goree, a loyal and hardworking employee of Home Depot for nearly 15
years, has recently been hospitalized at Piedmont Atlanta with a brain
injury due to complications from a stroke. This unexpected medical
emergency has left Jay unable to speak, walk, or communicate. The doctors
were only able to remove 50% of the blood clot from his brain, and while we
continue to pray for his recovery, Jay now faces a long road ahead.
For years, Jay was the embodiment of dedication. He worked tirelessly not
only at Home Depot, but also as an Uber driver, providing for his family
with unwavering commitment. Unfortunately, due to complications with his
insurance provider, Kaiser, Jay’s acute rehabilitation is no longer covered
under his company benefits—leaving his family deeply concerned about both
his healthcare and the household bills that Jay would normally be providing
for.
This is a man who has been a reliable coworker, a devoted father,
grandfather, and a friend to so many. Jay’s work ethic has always been
unmatched—he was up before dawn to get to his job, often moving directly
from one to the next. He was there for his family and community, always
stepping in to help those in need. Now, it’s our turn to step in and help
him.
Jay’s family is facing more than just the emotional strain of this
situation—they are now burdened with mounting medical expenses, and the
loss of the income Jay provided. This is where we all come in. We need your
help to ensure Jay has access to the care and rehabilitation he deserves as
he fights his way back to health.
How You Can Help:
• Prayers and Positive Thoughts are crucial, but Jay and his family also
need our financial support during this critical time.
• Donations will directly go towards his rehabilitation, medical bills, and
the financial support his family desperately needs while he recovers.
• Please Share: Let’s come together as a community—share this with your
family, friends, coworkers, and anyone who may be able to contribute. Every
little bit counts.
This is a man who has done everything right, working hard his entire life
to provide for his loved ones. He didn’t deserve to face this kind of
hardship, but now it’s our turn to show up for him, just as he has shown up
for all of us.
Let’s help Jay get back on his feet so he can return to doing the work he
loves and supporting the family who depends on him.
