What we thought would be a quick trip to the ER has turned into our family’s worst nightmare. My dad, Jeremy “Jay” Dennison, was transported by helicopter from Bradley Medical Center in Cleveland, TN to Johnson City Treatment Center after spending 1 week at the original facility. His original symptoms were intense episodes of vomiting and severe abdominal pain that radiated into his back. Doctors quickly diagnosed him with severe pancreatitis, and since then his condition has become even more complicated due to a bowel obstruction. What was supposed to be a short hospital visit has now become weeks of hospitalization, with no clear date for when he will finally be able to come home.

As many of you know, Jay is a devoted husband and father. His wife, Katie, has been traveling back and forth between home and the new medical facility, doing everything she can to support him while still caring for their little ones at home. The emotional, physical, and financial toll has been overwhelming. To make matters worse, insurance has already begun denying claims, adding another layer of stress during an already frightening time.

Jay is the sole provider for his family and is self-employed, meaning he will not receive any short-term or long-term disability benefits while he remains in the hospital. With mounting medical bills and ongoing travel expenses, the financial pressure is becoming unmanageable.

We are asking for support to help ease this burden so Jay and his family can focus entirely on his healing. All donations will be sent directly to him and his wife to cover medical expenses, travel costs, and essential household needs during this difficult period.
