Hello friends and family of Jay and Annie. My name is Bethany and im friends with Jay and Annie and was the foster mom of their cat, Darwin.

As you may have heard, their sweet 1.5 year old cat Darwin needed emergency surgery on January 20, 2025. Darwin had an intestinal blockage as well as pneumonia. Darwin had complications with his pneumonia on the morning of January 21st. Jay and Annie thought they’d be bringing Darwin home today after surgery but instead got a call that Darwin was crashing and they needed to come and say goodbye. The medical expenses for surgery and hospitalization are extremely high and having to say goodbye to Darwin is crushing. If you are able to help offset the financial burden it will allow Jay and Annie to focus on their grief and healing their hearts.
