I'm raising funds for my son's friend and teammate, Jaxson, after he suffered a broken neck during a football game on Sept. 4. His injury has required surgery, and he is facing a long recovery ahead.

Right now, Jaxson's family is staying at the hospital with him, doing everything they can to be by his side. At the same time, they do not know when they will be able to get back to work. The travel alone has been difficult. Jaxson's family lives about an hour from the hospital, his dad lives several hours away, and his sisters have to make the drive every day because they cannot stay there.

Donations will help ease some of the pressure by covering hospital bills, food, gas, and everyday bills and expenses while the family focuses on Jaxson and the long recovery in front of him.
