Support Jax's Fight for a Healthy Future

Hi, my name is Steph. This is our cat, Jax, aka Bubbies. My boyfriend and I rescued him at my local bar near our house. When we got him, he was about 7/8 months old (August 2023). He automatically became my boyfriend’s best friend. Jax is one of a kind. Unfortunately, he is very sick with a possible urinary blockage. It is common in neutered males. It happened so quickly.

We tried to get pet insurance, but there is a 14-day waiting period. Facts are he only has 2-6 days and this will kill him. We are on day 2. I’m not one to ask for help, but this is different. I’m gonna lose a part of me. ER visits are $200-270. That’s not the treatment. That could range $300-$5,000, depending on what the vet finds. I don’t know what to do, and putting him down is really gonna be tough. Thank you all for your prayers.

UPDATE:

Jax is now at Philly Animals Hospital. He will be staying overnight. They found the blockage. We still have a remaining balance of $800 that will need to be paid on pickup in about 3 days. Please and thank you all for the help.
