Hi, my name is Yvette and am trying to raise funds for my dog Jax. Jackie boy is a happy, loving 10 year old Dachshund-Jack Russell terrier mix. He recently has had cyst appear on his lower eyelid. The poor guy has been restless, and on occasion made himself bleed trying to soothe himself. I’ve not been successful with a cone since he is a smart boy and is able to take it off in different ways. I have taken him to the vet, and was given a steroid to apply around his eye in an attempt to reduce the size of the cyst. The first two weeks it was working but now, it has considerably grown; seems the medication is no longer working. He needs surgery to remove the cyst. I’ve already paid his labs and he has a go-ahead for surgery, but my predicament is the cost of the surgery. He has no pet insurance and payments are not possible. I don’t like seeing him in this situation and would appreciate any help from fellow animal lovers out there! I would be very grateful but most importantly, Jax would be extremely thankful for anything you could give. Thank you!!!
