Let’s Help Jaxon Stand Strong and Fight

My name is Lauren Blann and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of one of the strongest most amazing kids I know, Jaxon Fuge. He is also one of Morgan’s little pals and a huge supporter of first responders and the “Thin Blue Line.” It is Jaxon’s dream to someday become a police officer and he has attended just about every run that Morgan has done to honor first responders.

The reality is, though, that Jaxon has a genetic disorder called Neurofibramotosis Type 1. This is a serious medical condition that can cause developmental delays, learning disabilities, vision problems, and mental health issues due to the presence and growth of non cancerous tumors. Jaxon is known to have had at least 10 such tumors in his brain and spinal cord and sadly the family just received news that his condition has worsened.

Jaxon has a long road ahead of him which will include a great deal of testing and treatment as the family travels back and forth to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

His parents would never ask for help but I insisted on doing this on their behalf. Jaxon is truly the greatest kid out there. He never lets anything get him down and always has a smile on his face. Jaxon also helps to keep Morgan in line for me and anyone who knows her knows that is no easy task.

I really just want to do whatever I can to help this wonderful family out. Thank you for whatever support you can give. It means the world to them. And to me….
