Hi, my name is Elsa Rojo. I am doing a fundraiser for my brother Frank “Javier” Silva. Thank you for taking the time to read and share my message.

In March 2024, Javier was taken to the emergency room for a fall. His MRI showed a brain tumor. That same night he was flown by helicopter to a Phoenix hospital. Upon more tests and studies , he was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma, stage four.

Our family is shocked and devastated by this news.

Surgeons performed a craniotomy of his right frontal lobe and removed as much of the tumor as possible. Chemotherapy and radiation will still be required for several weeks. In addition, he requires physical and occupational therapy to recover his communication functions, both mental and physical.

Funds will be used to cover equipment, supplies and many trips to see his doctors in Phoenix for possible brain electrodes to manage his symptoms. My brother has a tough battle ahead of him.
