I am raising funds after the unimaginable and unexpected loss of my husband, Javier. Javier truly knew no strangers. To know him was to love him, and he worked hard every day because he wanted to give me and our children everything and more.
Javier fought kidney disease for the past 10 years and received a transplant 6 years ago. Together, we were thriving, and losing him like this has turned our world upside down. Along with the heartbreak of his passing, I am now facing the cost of getting Javier home, burial expenses, mental health support, and the day-to-day responsibility of raising our three children, Yanela, who is 17, Fabian, who is 15, and Amelia, who is 5.
This support will help me cover the immediate expenses connected to bringing Javier home and laying him to rest, while also helping me care for our children and get the support we need during this painful time.
If you are able to give, please know that any amount will help my family. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much. Thank you for helping us honor Javier and care for the family he worked so hard for.
