Help Us Bury Jastin Barham & Support His Grieving Mother

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help in supporting my sister, whose only child, my nephew Jastin Barham, suffered a devastating asthma attack on Tuesday, May 6th, in Baltimore, Maryland. The lack of oxygen caused severe brain injury, and Jastin has been on a ventilator ever since. The doctors have given us little to no hope of recovery, and we are preparing ourselves for the Qadr (decree) of Allah.

When the time comes, we want to honor Jastin with a proper Islamic janazah and burial. In addition to covering the funeral costs, this fundraiser will also support his mother, who is now facing this tragedy as a single grieving parent. The pain of losing her only child is beyond words, and we want to make sure we cover the financial burden of the funeral and burial so she has emotional space to grieve and begin to heal.

Janazah and burial expenses and

Immediate financial support for Jastin’s mother during this critical time
