Hello, I’m Jaspur and I was lucky enough to be rescued from a tire shop at 3 weeks old! Unfortunately, I was born with an extremely rare condition called pectus excavatum, a chest wall deformity. Tomorrow, April 30th, I will be undergoing surgery and having a splint for 4 weeks and staying at the hospital if there are complications. My owners have been so patient and loving with me, so I am hoping to spend many more years cuddling, purring, and exploring the world with my new family!

My surgery went well but I was recently admitted to the ER May 9th due to difficulty breathing. Turns out, I have pneumonia and only one good lung. Luckily I’m a fighter, and I was discharged from the ER the next morning.
