This fundraiser is for Jasper Hippolyte organized by his aunt Clare Hall.

All donations will be used to cover his medical bills. They will be administered and used to cover these costs on his behalf by Vivienne Hall as he is incapacitated in ICU currently.

We are unfortunately in the position of needing to call on family, friends, and colleagues. Jasper was admitted to an intensive-care unit in Cali, Colombia in the first week of January 2024, with an urgent need for emergency surgery on his bowel, intestines and stomach. This was a result of a long term issue with his spine which escalated resulting in him being in need of surgery. Thankfully the surgery has appeared to be successful and to date he is slowly being brought out of an induced coma.

Currently, Vivienne, his mother and Saskia, his sister are with him. They have been informed that his hospital fees to date are at £20,000. He is expected to remain in hospital care for up to 5 more weeks. Like many young men his age, Jasper has a thirst for travel and a desire to see and understand the world around him, hence his time in South America. He had been there a year and was due to fly home but tragically his health deteriorated and life saving surgery was needed. Hospitalization, coupled with recently expired travel insurance, has led to this call for financial assistance.
