It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Jasper “Jdot” Harden on March 8, 2026. Born on May 9, 1988, Jasper attended Duke Ellington Senior High School, where his passion for music began to shine. Jasper was a talented singer who wrote and performed songs with the Gameova band and show. He was also a mentor to many, always willing to share his craft and give positive, constructive feedback to singers throughout the go-go community. His music, energy, and spirit touched many lives, and he built meaningful friendships everywhere he went. Losing him has left a deep void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
Unfortunately, Jasper did not have life insurance or coverage to help with the expenses that come after a loss like this. His older sister is now carrying the responsibility of covering the funeral costs out of pocket while also trying to grieve and support the rest of the family during this incredibly difficult time.
We are asking friends, supporters, and anyone whose life Jasper touched to help ease this burden if you are able. Your donation will go directly toward the memorial service arrangements and supporting the family during this time of mourning. No amount is too small. Even sharing this fundraiser can make a difference. Jasper meant so much to many people, and this is a chance for all of us to come together and show love and support for his family when they need it most. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
