Jason, my husband of 27 years, is a devoted father to our two boys, ages 15 and 10. For the past decade, he’s been a hardworking truck driver, known for his friendly spirit and his ability to make friends wherever he goes. Whether he’s out on the road or talking about his passion for the sand dunes, Jason’s warmth and kindness have made him well known in the trucking community and beyond.
In May 2025, Jason began experiencing severe stomach pain. After a CT scan, doctors discovered a tumor on his adrenal gland, and a colonoscopy revealed numerous polyps that local doctors were unable to treat. This led us to the University of Kansas, three hours from home, where Jason underwent surgery to remove the mass. Unfortunately, this is just the first step—he still needs additional surgery on his colon and further evaluation of his pancreas due to ongoing issues.
The financial impact has been overwhelming. With Jason unable to work, we’ve lost our main source of income. We’re facing mounting hospital bills, travel and hotel expenses, and the added stress of being away from home. Our boys have had to stay with their grandparents, struggling with worry and missing out on normal activities. Any support, no matter the amount, would help ease the burden—allowing our boys to enjoy simple things like school events and giving Jason the peace of mind he needs to focus on healing. We are deeply grateful for any help during this difficult time.
