My name is Jason, and I am 46 years old. Four years ago, my life took a turn I never could have expected. After a car accident, I was left with overlapping discs in my L2-L5 vertebrae, which led to chronic back pain and arthritis. On top of that, I live with Fibromyalgia, which makes every day a challenge. These conditions have made it impossible for me to work more than 8 hours a week on my feet, and the pain and fatigue are constant.

The last four years have completely changed the trajectory of my life. I have always worked hard and taken pride in supporting myself, but now I find myself struggling just to make ends meet. I have applied for disability twice and been denied both times. My next chance for a hearing isn’t until May of 2026, which feels like a lifetime away. In the meantime, I am doing everything I can to get by, but it’s not enough.

The funds from this fundraiser will help me cover my rent, medical bills, and daily living expenses. They will also give me the chance to try medical procedures that aren’t covered by insurance, in the hope that something might finally bring some relief.
