Hi everyone, my name is Kelani.

My fiancé Jason and I are both in recovery — I just celebrated 13 months clean, and he just hit 5 months. We’ve been together for 8 years and have two beautiful children. Our journey has been full of pain and struggle, but also so much beauty, grace, and gratitude.

Jason recently had a surgery for a hernia that’s been causing him terrible pain for months. While remaining NARCOTIC FREE, he’s stayed true to who he is and remained — helping others, encouraging friends in recovery, and giving his all to those who need him most. That’s just who Jason is: selfless, kind, and full of love.

After his surgery, things took a hard turn. He developed serious complications and an infection, leaving him in excruciating pain and unable to work for a few weeks. Jason lives in a sober house that means everything to him — it’s where he finds strength, support, and brotherhood. Without income, though, we’re struggling to keep him there.

I’ve covered what I can, but I can’t do this alone. I’m asking from the bottom of my heart for any help you can give so Jason can focus on healing and staying strong in his recovery without the fear of losing his home.
