Support Jason's Post-Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Jason Boatman. I am asking for financial help due to unforeseen circumstances. I was discharged January 30 after my stay in the hospital for 86 days, recovering from surgery on my left shoulder. My stay in the hospital was much longer than others with the same surgery. My shoulders have been my legs the past 29 years due to an accident that left me paralyzed in 1995.
While waiting for surgery after being diagnosed with a torn superior labrum (bicep/shoulder), I was unable to work since September 2024. My savings is almost depleted and I do not receive financial assistance. My insurance company is only paying a small portion of the cost of the bed that is doctor recommended for my home. My propane is low and Consumers bill behind.
There is a piece of physical therapy equipment (called a Rickshaw) that can be built but needs the cost of material covered. This machine will help keep my left shoulder strong and maintain strength. It will also provide assistance to gain the strength back in my right shoulder after surgery, which is scheduled this upcoming September.
Any help will be more than appreciated. Having in place the doctor recommended bed, Rickshaw PT equipment, along with extra funds to pay my monthly bills, would be a huge blessing.
Thank you in advance for your love and care in my journey.
