Hello everyone, my name is Jyrzie Altovino. I’m Jason’s youngest child. As many of you may know, my dad has been through hell and back and has struggled with addiction for many years of his life. He lost my mom unexpectedly 7 years ago, leaving him lost. With the help from family and friends, we were able to help him back on his feet for a while, but with the struggles and loneliness many of us faced during the pandemic, he relapsed back into a dark place. He met his fiancé Cindy during this time, and even through the ups and downs, she stuck by his side, which I could never thank her enough for. He needed someone, and she was there for him. She always showed love and compassion to the people around her, as well as to my brother and me.

Tuesday morning, I was notified with devastating news: his fiancé Cindy passed away unexpectedly. Leaving my dad very distraught and lost in life, and with great sadness, I’m here to do everything in my power to support him on this next journey in life. My dad is currently homeless and very lost in life at this time. This chapter for him will be filled with many different emotions and highs and lows. But I ask for sympathy from his friends and family to help support him during this very difficult time. I understand my dad has lost touch with many people due to his personal battles, as well as lost touch with himself. But this next journey in life will be to bring the old, spunky and funny Jason back to life with recovery. This chapter will be filled with hope and recovery, and I will be managing this and all donations for him to ensure these donations go to his health, safety, and recovery during this difficult time. I appreciate everyone who has loved and supported my family through these very low and difficult times. And thank you to anyone who does donate in the help of my dad to grow and learn life over again on his own.
