Support Jason's Journey Towards Recovery From Stroke

Hi, my name is Josh,

Recently, my brother Jason had a stroke to the cerebellum. It has been an absolute rollercoaster of emotions and ups and downs. He was misdiagnosed when he was sent by ambulance to Hospital. They thought he was going through alcohol withdrawals. This went on for 3 days until he wouldn't wake up because the pressure built up in his brain. It wasn't until my mother (Julie) demanded a CAT scan to be done. Eight hours later, they took Jay in to get the scan done. Two hours later, the result came in and they found a mass in his brain. He was med-flighted to UW Hospital and they immediately drilled a hole to relieve pressure so they could perform an MRI. The stroke was then found and they removed part of his skull so the swelling had room and wouldn't push against his brainstem. On top of this, he has heart failure. Doctors told us there was a very high chance he wasn't going to make it.

Prayers have been answered and it has been 2 weeks now and he is in recovery. It's going to be a long road ahead of him.

My goal is to help Jay pay off the debt he has, so his only worry in life is his journey to recovery.

Jay is one of the most selfless people I know! He is always that person you call when you need help with anything. Over the years of Jay being on this earth, he has maintained all friendships and is loved by so many. He is one of the good ones. His passions are hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors! His biggest joy is to bring smiles to people's faces and teach them how to do his passions.

Jay has saved my life through all of this, so I would love to return the favor and help with his!
