Hello everyone,

My name is Jason, and I am reaching out for support during a challenging time in my life. I am currently in recovery from prescription painkillers and Xanax/Klonopin. It's been a long road filled with many ups and downs, but I’m proud to share that I have been sober for a year now. I am living in a halfway house and working hard to rebuild my life.

Recently, I learned that a universal freeze has been placed on rental assistance programs. This news has left me in a dire situation. To comply with my recovery program, I must attend outpatient services four days a week from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. While I have been receiving state assistance for my rent, I now face the risk of eviction if I cannot pay my rent by tomorrow.

I never imagined I would find myself in this situation, and the stress of possibly ending up back on the streets is overwhelming. If anyone can lend a helping hand, even a small contribution would mean the world to me. Your support could provide me with the stability I need to continue my recovery journey.
