Support Jason's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Stephanie and I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jason for over 15 years. What started as being neighbors soon turned into being family!
On Sunday March 3rd, 2024, Jason was hospitalized for what they thought was a reaction to new diabetic medication. Unfortunately, along with discovering he had a mild stroke, it was discovered that there was a 3.7 cm mass on the tail of his pancreas, a smaller mass in his liver and enlarged lymph nodes. Jason had a biopsy on Tuesday March 5th that came back positive for pancreatic cancer. Jason waited no time to go into action and had a port put in for treatments prior to discharge. He had his first treatment on March 19th and after only 2 treatments his cancer marker CA19-9 has decreased by almost half. This is encouraging news but Jason still a battle ahead of him.
Unfortunately, the Social Security/disability claim has yet to be approved and with Jason unable to work any additional assistance helps take the burden off of Jason, Tonya and the kids and allows them to focus their energy on his battle. If you are able to help out in any way, the help will not go unnoticed and will be appreciated by so many.
Thank you!
