Support Jason's Fight Against Hemochromatosis

I am asking for help on behalf of my friends. They have had an ordeal that started as a gallbladder surgery and now here 6 weeks later are in Boston. I am asking all my friends to please support this familly. Heidi and the 2 girls are in Boston at this time. Medical bills along with their monthly bills are soon going to be coming in and I would love to be able to surround them with so much love, prayer and a peace of mind that they will have help for all that they need.

I will post updates on here as often as I can.

(From Heidi) On May 30th Jason was sent to General Mass. Jason was diagnosed with hemochromatosis officially Friday. This disease is what he is suffering with and it is destroying his body. What we thought was gallbladder was just the start of his downward spiral.

(From Emily) June 2 - Dad is no longer sedated. He's still fighting. We’ve seen small but deeply moving signs — a flutter of his eyelashes, subtle movements of his mouth — and they fill us with hope. We’ve been playing his favorite music and the Discovery Channel, surrounding him with comfort and love. One special moment: we played Black Betty, which always reminded him of me — and in a way, it felt like a connected to him again.

We’ve been asking Dad — or someone — to send us signs, and we’ve been seeing them.

To all of you who have been praying, sending messages, or simply holding us in your thoughts: we feel it. Every kind word, every gesture of support — it’s helped carry us through this. Please keep that light coming. It means more than we can ever say.
