On Monday, January 26th, my father, Jason Young, was stabbed four times while protecting a family member from a violent and aggressive person. Just a week earlier, he had undergone surgery for a medical condition and was still recovering. This horrifying incident forced him into another emergency surgery for life-threatening injuries, spending more than two hours in the operating room. Now, as he begins his long road to recovery, my dad is unable to work and is facing growing medical bills, ambulance fees, and the costs of ongoing care. He also needs help with rent, utilities, and other basic needs while he heals. Our family is doing everything we can to support him, but the financial strain has become overwhelming.
Everyone who knows my dad knows the kindhearted man he is. He’s always been the first to help others without expecting anything in return, and his laughter, humor, and compassion have touched so many lives. Seeing him like this has been one of the hardest moments of my life. I truly felt like I almost lost him, and that realization shook me deeply. I am so proud to be his daughter—his courage and faith through all of this remind me daily of the strength God gives us in our darkest moments. Even in the midst of pain and uncertainty, we are trusting fully in God’s plan. We know that He will provide for my dad and carry our family through this season.
We are asking for an abundance of prayers—for healing, peace, and provision—and if you feel led, any financial contribution would mean the world to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, your prayers, and your support. We hold tightly to the belief that God is good, and even in this storm, He is working all things together for good.
