Support Jason while waiting for liver transplant.
Hello potential donors. We desperately need your help. As some of you may know, my good friend Nicole has watched in horror as her boyfriend and best friend Jason Storry contracted Covid-19 while working as a Corrections Officer at our local jail. Jason contracted this terrible virus on Jan 8th (Nicole's birthday.) It was one month of severe panic as this virus took over his body. Jason returned to work but his health never returned to 100%.
After a few weeks of work, he received his vaccine only to be hospitalized 13 days later with severe organ issues. After being sent home, he did regular blood tests to see if there was any improvement.
By the 3rd week of June, his health started to decline drastically. The virus had attacked his kidneys. Jason's health care team at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital worked diligently to get his kidneys functioning, however, his liver became too damaged.
Nicole is with Jason as he has been transferred to London in order for him to receive a liver transplant. We are racing against the clock as his health is in severe decline and we could lose him. A liver transplant is his only option.
We are hoping to support Nicole, Jason, Sawyer, and Jason's family as they travel back and forth to London awaiting a life-saving transplant for Jason. Covid-19 has taken so much from us over the past year and a half, we are all praying that this terrible virus doesn't take Nicole's best friend as well. Any donation is greatly appreciated, and if you cannot donate, then PLEASE share through social media.
Help us bring Jason back to Thunder Bay with a healthy liver and a new lease on life. Thank you so much.
