The time has come to shine the spotlight on a new film that has the potential to change minds, launches careers and gives the opportunity for collaboration. "Redlining" is a new short film by Jason Stuart about two families, one white and one black, who live on the same property in home in Savannah, GA and explores the themes of generational wealth, prejudice, homosexuality and the legacy of discrimination on in the American South. The creative mind of Jason Stuart, an award-winning actor, comedian and filmmaker with an impressive body of work. The time is now and the film is "Redlining". The term “Redlining”, according to Webster’s dictionary is defined as “the act of refusing a home, a loan or insurance to someone because of the color of their skin, religion or sexual orientation”. The title lends itself from this discriminatory act which was a common practice in the South and a darker part of America’s past. The 12-minute short film, “Red Lining”, is masterfully conceived through fearless storytelling and challenges us all to think about our hidden prejudices, our family, love and America.
