Support Jason Sherman & Family Through Stage 4 Cancer Battle

Donation protected
Jason Sherman is 45 years old, a husband, a father, and someone who has always worked hard to provide for his family. He and his wife, Lindsey, have been married since November of 2020 and are raising their three-year-old son, Jonah, in St. Charles, Missouri.

On March 11th, everything changed.

Jason was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer that has spread throughout his body, including his bones. In just a matter of weeks, his life has been completely turned upside down.

Today, Jason is almost entirely confined to a wheelchair, bed, or recliner. He lives in constant pain, typically around a 6 or 7, with frequent spikes into the 8–10 range. Multiple surgeries were required to stabilize his bones, and he is has now begun chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

Jason has always been a hard worker. He currently works for True Manufacturing and has spent years building a career in HVAC, including leadership roles. But right now, he is unable to work at all.

Lindsey is doing everything she can to hold things together. She is working toward qualifying for FMLA so she can be present for Jason during critical moments, but even then, it will be unpaid leave. She is balancing work, caregiving, and caring for their young son all at once.

At this stage, Jason’s cancer is considered advanced and not curable. His treatment is palliative in intent, meaning the focus is on extending life, slowing the progression of the disease, reducing pain, and improving his quality of life. He is beginning treatment, and the road ahead will be difficult.

Like many families, Jason and Lindsey were already carrying financial strain before this diagnosis. When Jonah was born very prematurely and required an extended NICU stay at birth several years ago, it created significant medical expenses that they have still been working to recover from. Now, with Jason’s diagnosis, surgeries, lost income, and ongoing treatment needs, the burden has become overwhelming.

This is where we are asking for help.

Funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses and treatments, travel to and from appointments and care, emergency transportation when pain is too severe for standard travel, lost income due to Jason being unable to work, time off work for Lindsey to care for Jason, home modifications for wheelchair accessibility, essential medical equipment such as a lift recliner and other support needs, and daily living expenses during this incredibly difficult time.

While we do not know exactly how long this journey will be, we do know the needs are immediate and significant.

More than anything, we want Jason and Lindsey to be able to focus on what matters most right now: time together as a family, without the constant weight of financial pressure.

For those who share our faith, we also ask for your prayers.

We believe in God’s power, His presence, and His peace even in the hardest moments. Please pray for strength, comfort, wisdom for the medical team, and for Jason, Lindsey, and Jonah as they walk through this.

If you are able to give, any amount helps more than you know.

If you are not able to give, please consider sharing this page. That alone can make a huge difference.

Thank you for standing with Jason, Lindsey, and Jonah during this time.

Our whole family thank for your support and prayer.
