The Sears family needs your help! Jason Sears has been diagnosed with a rare bone cancer. Spinal Chordoma is diagnosed in only one in one million Americans. This process to diagnose has already led them on a medically expensive journey that is sure to continue now that the cancer is diagnosed. We are asking people to donate to this go fund me to alleviate the medical deductible of $5,000, help with co pays for expensive surgery and hospital stay and the radiation treatments, and to provide some help for him being off work which has now exceeded 6 months. Jason works for Casey’s and Mary(my sister) works for Webb City School district. They have a high school junior, Haidyn and a freshmen, Paisley. In cases like these we all want to help. This is a way you can help the family navigate this extremely difficult journey. We all believe that Jason’s healing is in the hands of the our Lord, the Great Physician. Update: Jason has severe spinal damage caused by radiation. It has caused him to not be able to walk due to numbness below the waist. He has been forced from his job with Casey’s and is trying to complete some treatments at KU med. He will be losing his insurance June 30, 2026. This family needs help getting a bed Jason can use and paying for medical expenses as well as some daily living. Jason did take out a disability policy that is helping with some portion of his salary. Please pray and support if you can.
