Support Jason Middleton's Medical Recovery

Hi, it’s me, Jason Middleton. I don’t really know where to start; I’ve never had to do this before, and I am a little embarrassed to ask for help. I have never had to do so in my past, always been hard-working and able to pay my bills as well as take care of my family. But due to some unfortunate health issues in the last 2 to 3 months, I have not been able to work at all, and for the last year, I have struggled to work full-time. I have used all my savings and now find my situation in critical need of help.

I have tried to get my Social Security, which I am speaking to a lawyer about, but we all know how long that could take. I have diabetes, which I am getting under control with insulin and other medicines. I am currently blind in my right eye and have been in the hospital due to an abscessed prostate, which I am still in the hospital for today as we speak. I have tried all kinds of resources, but the funds are not available at this time to help me out, and I don’t really know where to turn. So, I thought I would try here after a few friends and family members suggested it.

I am scared of losing my home, which I am behind on rent. I am currently three months behind on my phone bill, and car payments are due. I have a catheter in right now and have had two more in the last month taken out. Then I returned to the hospital in an ambulance, unable to pass urine and having up to 2 liters of fluid in my bladder, which causes severe spasms and uncontrollable pain. I am currently waiting for my urologist to let me know what the next steps need to be taken to hopefully get me back to being able to work part-time to take care of my future bills along with the Social Security lawyer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
