Support Jason Masuoka and his family

Hi everyone,

Many of you have noticed that Jason hasn’t been around the unit lately and many of you have asked the techs why that is? Unfortunately, Jason has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the oropharynx and will be away from us for awhile while he seeks treatment, starting with chemo and radiation, and potentially additional surgeries.

Upon hearing the news, every single one of you has asked, “How can I help?”

Our unit is so much more than a group of people that work together. We are a family, we support each other, we check in on each other, and we bear each others burdens. Jason does each of those things and more for all of us and now it’s our turn to return the favor. We are using this as the platform to bless Jason and Carolyn, they can use these funds in whatever way will lessen the load they are carrying. We will give updates as Jason feels comfortable sharing.
