Support Jason Eckeberger's Brain Rehab Journey

In March 2024, my stepdad, Jason Eckeberger, suffered a severe heart attack that led to an anoxic brain injury. Since then, he has been fighting an incredibly tough battle to regain his cognitive abilities.

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, Jason isn't receiving the intensive therapy he desperately needs through his insurance provider, Kaiser Permanente. His therapists unanimously agree that he requires more frequent and rigorous rehabilitation, particularly at the Brain Rehab Network, a facility that specializes in treating brain injuries like his. Sadly, Kaiser has refused to cover this necessary service.

The doctors have emphasized that now is a crucial time for Jason to receive intensive therapy, as it could greatly enhance and expedite his recovery. This is why we're determined to move forward with these vital therapies, despite the lack of insurance coverage.

We’re now reaching out to our community for support. The cost of this specialized therapy is significant, but Jason is determined to regain his independence and return to work. With the right care, he has a fighting chance.
