Support Jason Brookhart and his Family

My name is Tara and I am the wife of Jason Brookhart. My family has struggled through Jason's medical problems for the last 8 months. Jason has Diabetes which has developed complications. He had an infected foot and sepsis which took all this time to heal.A few weeks ago, he was able to return to work as a HVAC technician. Our family was excited to have some normalcy and income back in our lives. On New Year's Day, Jason was having a new problem with his foot and went to the Emergency Room. The foot is infected again and there are a few fractured bones. Jason had surgery on his foot, He has developed a condition called Charcot foot brought on by Diabetes and a staph infection. Jason is in the hospital receiving treatment for these conditions. Following these treatments, Jason will be reevaluated to make a plan of action for further treatments. So again my family is back struggling emotionally and financially. We were able to make it through the last bout of sickness with the kindness of some family and friends. We have three boys: Nathan-14, Zachary-12, and Trevor-8. I have tried to keep the household running as smoothly as possible and the boys' lives are minimally disruptive during this time but it is difficult. I have a small craft business but it isn't enough to cover all the household expenses. Jason's healing will take months. It is unlikely that he can return to his present profession which will complicate our lives even further. He will have to retrain for another type of job where he can be sitting most of the time. It is hard for us to pay our mortgage, household bills, and any unexpected medical expenses at this difficult time.
